“ The food, service and atmosphere were all amazing. Sangria was super delicious. We will be back! ”
“ located in the heart of downtown new brunswick, right off george street, is this gem of a restaurant! I was recommended this spot by a few friends and I think it was totally worth the hype. the drinks were delicious & the food was great! everything we tried, we thoroughly enjoyed. pricing for the dishes were totally fair, in my opinion. the seafood paella was packed with seafood and flavor. the churros have a filling inside, something like dulce de leche. probably the best churros i've tried so far. the service is a bit iffy, but it does get really busy in there so be prepared for that. loved the chill vibe and colorful interior too. ”
“ Not perfect, but very good! We went to lunch here, each ordered a bowl of 7 Mares soup (assorted seafoods in a beautiful creamy broth), shared a Cuban Tartare and a Cabrita Salad, with Tres Leches for dessert. The soup was perfection in a bowl, Cuban Tartare was equally good. The salad was good, with the main downside being somewhat limp greens, made up for by the fine goat cheese on top. The main thing that cost this fine place its fifth star was the Tres Leches cake, which in fact seemed to have no leches; it seemed for all the world like plain sponge cake with whipped cream and a couple of berries placed alongside on the plate - and to add insult to injury, this little slice of cake was 13 bucks. The service was quite fine - Daniel did a hell of a job taking care of us. Ambiance? Not thrilled, with the visual, but it was lively and not boring. Music was a bit loud, but the host was more than happy to turn it down a bit for us. Verdict: skip dessert and you've got a good shot at a 5-star meal. ”
“ Came to this place accidentally and I have to say it was worth it. Diego our waiter was very attentive and provided great service. Good food and music. Would recommend. The food was served very quickly considering it was a very busy Saturday night! I was impressed. ”
“ Came to this restaurant with my Husband because we had tickets to Tina Turner at the State Theater. This Restaurant is fantastic and nothing short. We experienced a little hiccup with my husband's steak where it was overcooked. We told the manager, not sure if owner. But he changed it right away. I was afraid that we were pressed for time but he made that happen so quickly. We started with the Ceviche sampler. For me it was more of a pickled salad of each thing and it was absolutely delicious. As I mentioned my husband had the steak and I had the Salmon in Lobster sauce. My salmon was over cooked but all the flavor profiles were there. I think they should remove the sweet potato puree on this dish and maybe substitute it for garlic roasted mash instead. Just my observation. The sweet potato was the weak point of the dish. Portions are nice here and you get your moneys worth The drinks are all made to perfection and a little strong, which is the right price for the money. They even have a separate Sangria bar which I thought was absolutely adorable. Service was on point. Super friendly and attentive staff that go beyond to meet your expectations. They checked on us. The place is beautiful and nicely lit. The bar is gorgeous with its back drop. Reminds me of Old San Juan in Puerto Rico. The Manager told us to come back for the lounge but we were sleepy after our play. The entire bill came out to $150 and I thought that was reasonably priced. We will definitely be returning for another date night! ”
“ My daughter and I were going to a show at NBPAC so we came here for an early dinner. It's only 2 min away. Not only the place looked so fun, the food and drinks were great too! We shared sangria flights and 4 tapas, and they're all delicious. The interior was exciting and fun. The wait staff was friendly. By the time we left, the place was packed so you really should make a reservation before you go. Enjoy! ”
“ During my weekend getaway in NJ, I went to one of my favorite spots, Esquina Latina, and it was as good as I remembered. After we enjoyed our cocktails and dinner, we danced for about almost two hours. The DJ was simply amazing! We had a great time and the valet parking is very convenient. Great spot, good food and service, awesome ambiance! ”
“ Came here for a date night. Medium sized venue on a side street in the heart of the New Brunswick restaurants area. They have a very small lot which has metered parking via the 'ParkMobile' app. It was full when we went. As well as metered street parking. It's on a one-way side street, so you'll have to go around the block to give parking another go. Service was fast & friendly. Casual decor, & music playing that is not loud enough to disturb a normal volume conversation. Traditional Latin themed decor, menu items. They have Guest Wifi, which the password at the time of this review was Allowmeplease. We had Calamares Fritos, Tostones Rellenos with added Black Bean Rice, Costillas Guayaba BBQ, Margarita, & Coco Piña Mojito. All very good, no complaints, no issues. A nice spot to try if you're in the area. I swear I took a pic of the Tostones Rellenos, I remember doing it, but somehow the pic is completely gone, so no pic of that unfortunately. You can kinda see it in the background of the black bean rice photo though.
